We honor one of our Volunteer Examiners, Charlie Brown N9RU, who became a silent key in 2007.
The San Antonio Radio Club VE Team holds tests for all license classes: Technician, General, and Amateur Extra. All members of our team are Volunteer Examiners accredited by the ARRL/VEC.
We'll also have a test session at the San Antonio Radio Club Amateur Radio Fiesta in January 2009.

What to Bring: All necessary forms will be furnished to you. Please bring
- Social security number (or FRN)
- Photo ID (preferably drivers license)
- Original and photocopy of your current license (if you are a Ham)
- Original and photocopy of any CSCEs
- A simple calculator may be helpful. It should have nothing more
sophisticated than trig functions -- no PDAs, no phones.
- $14 test fee -- exact change preferred
Youngsters without a photo ID need two documents for identification. Suitable documents include a school report card, birth certificate, and a Social Security card.

Testing will continue until noon or all testing is completed, whichever comes first.
Directions: $1-$2 parking fee may be charged by the hospital, but will usually be waived if you tell the guard you are there for the Radio Club meeting. Enter at the guarded entrance off of Floyd Curl near Medical Drive, then loop to your right around the parking garage and park in the ground level parking area nearest the entrance. Enter through the revolving doors, walk straight back to Elevators "A" and
go to third floor. Turn left and then enter through the first green doors to your right into the cafeteria. Go all the way to the back. The Foundation Room is in the back left corner of the cafeteria.
